Rex Tillerson Get’s Green Light

In the end, Rubio thought better than to be the lone Republican obstructing a Republican president
WASHINGTON D.C. — In an 11-10 vote Senators of the Foreign Relations Committee affirmed Rex Tillerson’s designation as Secretary of State.
Every Foreign Relation Committee Democrat voted against Tillerson, all Republicans voted in favor of him.
The neocon Marco Rubio who endeavored a flame broiling of Tillerson over Russia in the hearings, and declined to express support for Tillerson until the latest possible time, could have swung the vote, yet that would have abandoned him as the solitary disagreeing Republican voting with the Democrats. Clearly, at last, he selected not to stray from the security of the crowd.
The way is presently certain for a vote of the full Senate to affirm Tillerson.
